Could you point some out? Im thinking of getting a laptop - and there seems to be a compromise between good graphics, and decent battery life. this seems to have both (albeit with an upgraded batt) So if theres any like that but cheaper, pls post linky!
if your looking for a good gaming laptop with graphics power, look at the new G1. Its amazing with a 8600M GT and Core 2Duo. Made by ASUS by the way...
Asus notebooks have had horrible battery life lately. I will be surprised if this gets more than 3.5 hours of battey life with a 6 cell.
Steve, you should check out the Sony SZ line of laptops. They have the ability to switch between dedicated and integrated graphics, which can really prolong battery life. Make sure you get the premium version though (650,660,670,680) because it has an LED backlit screen, it's lighter, and the case looks better.

It looks nice, but there are better laptops with smaller pricetags.
